Marriage
Licenses
A Marriage License can be obtained at any County Clerk’s
Office in Florida. Both parties must be present when applying for
the license. You must be over 18 years of age or have parental consent
and you must have proper identification; i.e. a photo drivers license
or passport. If you were divorced within the past six month, you
must have a copy of the dissolution of marriage. If you were divorced
more than six month ago, the date of the divorce is needed.

Non-residents:
There is no waiting period. The license fee is $88.50.
Florida Residents:
There is no waiting period if you have a Marriage Counseling Certificate.
The license fee is $56.00. There is a three day waiting period if
you do not have a Marriage Counseling Certificate. The license fee
is $88.50
Once you have the license, you can be married by a priest, rabbi
or clergyman or a civil ceremony can be performed by any Notary
Public or the Civil Department of the Clerk’s Office. There
are many beautiful settings in the Florida Keys for the ceremony.
